For the curious and unconventional.
From colourful to dark and moody.
I am Jess (she/her), I’m based in London and I would love to help you plan and design the beautiful, alternative, creative or themed event you desire your wedding to be. I specialise in intimate, micro and medium sized events (up to 120 guests).
I would love to provide you with the support to make your wedding dreams come true. And when I say “wedding”, this could include a legal or religious ceremony, or “just” a celebration of your love with your nearest and dearest, perhaps with a celebrant, a handfasting or similar, or something more in line with an elopement.

Wedding planning is time consuming and can be very stressful for couples. So if you need some help, advice and first (and second and third) hand experience or just a third pair of eyes, I will do my best to make the wedding planning as fun, easy and stressless for you as possible. I have experience with different types of weddings from the point of view of a planner/stylist, a guest and also a bride and would love to share my wealth of knowledge but also my considerable research skills with you.
I can honestly say Jess was an absolute lifesaver in the wedmin process. I would 100% recommend Jess to anyone looking for a wedding planner who is happy just to chat to you to calm you down, willing to take on silly ideas and run with it, and is very creative while also organised.”
I love working with couples who want to infuse their wedding with their personality and don’t want to stick to traditions “just because”. I especially enjoy planning and styling alternative events – so if you wanted a Disney themed, or a moody gothic, Steampunk, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings or a Labyrinth inspired wedding (or anything else your heart may desire), I would be thrilled to help you with that. Even more so if you wanted to include crafted, handmade details – don’t worry if you donβt have the time or inclination to make them yourself or really need another pair of hands, that’s where I come in!
I have a special affinity for couples that just need that extra little bit of support. This could be because one of you isn’t able to spend as much time on wedding planning tasks or one or both of you are dealing with disabilities, chronic illness, or similar or struggle with the amount of wedding related preparations and decision making. You may also be unable to delegate any tasks to friends or family for different reasons. I have also been known to provide support (you could call it gentle hand holding if you wanted) to couples when they were dealing with other vendors for their wedding or have had to deal with family members that were being inconsiderate of the time, patience or money of the couple and needed polite but firm correction. Need someone to explain to great aunt Sophie why you cannot invite ALL of your twice removed cousins to your wedding?! I’ve got you.
I enjoy working with couples from all kinds of backgrounds, races, religions, sexualities and gender identities and couples from the LGBTQIA+ community are especially welcome!
I can be a massive procrastinator in my personal life, especially when there’s pressure and a deadline, so having Jess on board was really helpful. Not only because she was great at getting me to focus and just get stuff done, she is also really just a lovely, sweet and professional person.
If you’d like support with both the run-up to your wedding as well as on the day, I could of course help you with both.
Depending on how and where you are having your wedding, you may be more or less worried about the smooth running of your wedding day and that all the little details are covered, that nothing is forgotten and that you can experience this special day at its fullest. As your on-the-day support, I can ensure that you do not need to worry and enjoy your day in the most relaxing way.
Based on your needs and what you decide to make a part of your celebrations and preparations, I can also provide you with assistance with your budget, your invitations or guest list, a wedding website, venue and or vendor search, decor and on-the-day stationery.
It doesn’t have to cost the world to have a wonderful wedding and with my help and advice you’ll be able to get the most bang for your buck. I try to be as sustainable, environmentally friendly, resource-conscious and people first as I can. Therefore I do not buy or recommend any products from Temu, Shein, Wish, or similar retailers. I also try to avoid AI wherever and whenever possible.
I hope you have gotten a first idea of what I can offer you. You can read more about the different services I offer, both for weddings and other events you may be planning, as well as more about me as a person and how I got here, below.
Let’s plan your dream wedding YOUR way, whatever this may look like!
My Services
Wedding Planning & Styling Services
From the idea to the set up on the day, I’m happy to assist you.
This could be at the beginning to get your research and planning off the ground & whizz up a wedding budget, towards the final weeks to get everything finalised or spread out as needed. The latter would be perfect if you need someone to check in with reguarly, to encourage you as well as give you practical help.
I can also assist you with creating your own invitations, on the day stationery (table/seating plan, menus etc.), confetti cones, decorations & centrepieces and help you save money and time and / or make more sustainable choices.

Stationery, Signage & Decorations
You can either book me to make one or more items for your wedding day as an add-on to another service or you can buy them from me as a stand-alone product or range of products without booking me for any of my other services.
These could be stationery like menus and place cards, a welcome sign or seating chart, cones for your biodegradable confetti, or decorations and centre pieces.
Decor Hire
When you book me for one of my wedding styling or wedding planning services, you can hire certain decor items from me for an additional fee.
This is a cost-effective and sustainable solution as you will not need to buy these products for your wedding and therefore won’t have to figure out afterwards what to do with them. The items currently range from amber glass bottles and mercury glass votiv candle holders over table top easles in different sizes to an over-the-table frame for decorations.

I met Y when I started sitting her cats. On-the-day Stationery for L & R’s Hertfordshire Wedding
I met L & R at the North London Wedding Fair at Forty Hall in Enfield in autumn 2024 and they had a great vibe from the get go. L & R had already done a lot of their planning when they got in touch and were very happy with the support their venue team was giving them but they needed a few more stationery items for on the day.
