The 2017 Halloween theme and inspiration came from the Disney movie Coco, The Book of Life and the Mexican celebration of Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, which celebrates the life and memory of the dearly departed.

We planned an Open Campaign day to fall shortly after the release of Alice Through the Looking Glass and decided to turn it into an afternoon tea party.

In the summer of 2016, I channeled the inspiration of Finding Dory, Finding Nemo and the Little Mermaid and used the corresponding colours and items for the decorations and food.

For Halloween in 2016 the decorations were inspired by Tim Burton's oeuvre but the food was what made everything come together!

Following the release of the new Live Action Beauty and the Beast film, it was fantastic to plan and decorate a very French event!

In honour of the 25th anniversary of Aladdin, we had a fantastic Arabian inspired feast and a gorgeous Cave of Wonders.
